About PARTICULAR. Intervention within the framework of the MARINA 255 project. COLLECTIVE CONFINEMENT.
PARTICULAR consisted of a favela-like installation made up of objects that are quite commonly used inside Cuban homes, starting with a table set with its corresponding iron chairs that escaped to the outside through a structure of palm leaves (the national tree of Cuba), and other objects made of sugarcane bagasse, wood, or made by hand as a palliative for various material and spiritual needs.
About the curatorial project MARINA 255. COLLECTIVE CONFINEMENT.
Curatorship and production: Alejandro González
The Marina 255. Collective Confinement Project was a project carried out in the Marina 255 Building, between Humboldt and Malecón, Vedado, Havana, Cuba.
It emerged as an alternative to the impossibility of accessing institutional exhibition circuits and as a demand for the development needs of a series of proposals by Cuban artists graduated from the main art schools in the country, who did not have a place in the exhibition programs of said institutions.
