The video installation shows the nature and relationships established in the construction of an endogenous product of a markedly popular nature, reflecting the conflicts regarding its production processes, as well as the cultural practices generated around its consumption. These elements define this product as a form of local heritage, while limiting its recognition and circulation beyond regional borders.

This is a sociological material that attempts, among other things, to question the possibilities of recognition of popular practices belonging to a peripheral culture, and their possible forms of interaction with global practices that establish other models of cultural approximation. In this sense, the video installation questions the cultural patrimonial assignments, by highlighting the political, economic and media mechanisms that condition these assignments.

El material audiovisual se proyectó sobre los toneles del Llagar (bodega) de Sidra Trabanco, en Sariego, Gijón, Asturias. Trabanco es una de las empresas líderes en producción de sidra natural de la región. 

The documentary lasts approximately one hour. It was filmed in more than 14 cider mills and a similar number of spaces dedicated to the consumption of this drink. During the intervention, 4 computers were placed containing figures that delved into the difficulties of exporting this drink, not only due to the difficulties of properly maintaining the product, but also due to the absence of a cultural policy that legitimizes and transfers, outside of regional references, the cultural practices that function as rituals for its consumption.
