Pollution is a series in which I collapse my painting (several pieces from the series: Nido de Espectadores), with the photographic work of Hannes Casper, which I find interesting because of the simplicity and minimalism with which they understand the human figure, where the subjects seem to be about to reveal something hidden that is never revealed, immersed in moments of pure sensory perception as when it is difficult to define something with words...

In these pieces I am interested in collapsing that softness of the figures and the pastel treatment of color, the emptiness of the themes, with the abstract surfaces of pure color and pure contrast of this series of paintings, where beyond the sense of painting itself as a process, or of the figure of the same cube being represented from different angles; enough ambiguity is produced to cause another form of abstraction, in which abstraction and figuration converge, mediated by the viewer's thought...
