Uprooting. Series
When you constantly cross borders, you remain in a space of transit where, out of tension rather than conciliation, you begin to generate a series of works that dialogue with this transitory and very little-defined space. However, these journeys linked to a more or less errant migration become productive when one intends to develop an artistic practice that involves exploring the links or ruptures generated in the interactions of art with the social, especially if you are constantly going from one place to another as in our case, as we have kept traveling through various cities and interacting with different practices, levels and social frameworks temporarily.
Reconfigurations
It tries to understand how art is constantly reconfigured to construct a political message, which never becomes a new message but rather the same question that is repeatedly posed, that is, what changes is not the message but the ways of producing it. We pose an immediate question that refers to the urgency of establishing a location, a location that allows us to understand and translate what is different, which is utopian in contemporary reality, since there are no longer localizable political-cultural locations, hence also the idea of a poorly defined cultural action that generates the feeling of myopia in the face of what can be established as different.
